What are some inexpensive makeup products that work well?

I've tried some that work %26amp; some I was disappointed with, I just wish they'd let you try before you buy, you know??

Mascera: Maybelline (the pink %26amp; green one. It doesn't clump %26amp; looks clean, then again it doesn't make your lashes that thick) but I like it.

Eyeliner: CoverGirl Line Professional (i'd suggest getting a dark brown or black) also the best types of liner is pencil, or crayon, pencil is probably cleaner/more defined.

Lips: Victoria's Secret lipgloss or Lipstick (it's what the models use, %26amp; it isn't very dry, %26amp; it's fairly inexpensive compared to lipgloss at MACY'S costing $25 a pop) or L'oreal the wet-shine lipstick

Bronzer: To tell you the truth I haven't found a bronzer dark enough for me, I got super tan but I want my face to be a little tanner but no bronzer was dark enough, VS bronzers usually are dark but are expensive. What are some inexpensive makeup products that work well?
Mostly any brand you can purchase in a drugstore is relatively inexpensive and works well. Truly. The trick is in the application and on this point, less is more. The quickest way to learn how to get *that* look you want is to stop in a Sephora or any of the branded cosmetic counters in any major department store for a free makeover. You really don't have to buy a thing; just ask for a natural daily look or on the day of an evening out, get a party makeover. These professional makeovers also will be helpful in identifying the types of face makeup (liquid, powder etc) and colors/shades that work best for you, so it'll help you make better choices when you shop from drugstore.

Hope this helps.

Look at Avon's makeup. Most drugstore brands cost as much or more than Avon. Avon is a better quality than most drugstore brands. You also get a 100% satisfaction guarantee. You can't buy makeup at a drugstore, take it home, try it, dislike the color, and take it back. With Avon you can. You can also get free shipping at the site I use with code FSANY.

Go to this site %26amp; read the customer reviews and check out the prices. My favorites....Smooth Mineral foundation %26amp; blush, Super Shock mascara, Glimmersticks eyeliner, and Ultra Color Rich Moussee lipstick.
Have you heard of mark.? They have unique, high-quality, affordable makeup. (Everything ranges from $2 - 20)

Most of their makeup is customizable and comes in convenient packaging.

They have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. And you can get free shippin on the site below by entering LAURENSLOOK.
I have this smoky powder eyeshadow from Revlon, and its amazing. Its called Bedroom Eyes, and I don't really see it anymore, but Maybelline has something like it called shadow stylist, but in my opinion it doesn't work as well, and the color is not as strong. I also saw a new TV ad for the Maybelline lip plumper. I have never used it, but if it is cheap, I wouldn't mind trying it out. Oh, and Maybelline mascara is great too.
Foundation: Clinique's powder foundation. It's like $18, very sheer, yet gives you a good amount of coverage. It makes my skin look flawless.

As for mascara, I really like Rimmel.

Eyeshadow.. Really anything that's like not kiddie brand.

Eyeliner, you can use eyeliner from drug stores, but I use dark colored eyeshadow with an angle brush to create an eyeliner effect. I havent yet used a liquid eyeliner, but I wanna try it.

Blush %26amp; Bronzer: again, I use the clinique's bronzer and I like it. It's very nice esp during the colder season.

For lips: I use chanel lip gloss. Not the typical ones you see on like magazines though. It has a black top and clear bottom. It's SO SMOOTH and not sticky at all. I love the color too! only $20.
NYC makeup works great ! Ive been using it for a couple of years now and never back out on buying any of their products. Their eyeliner works great. Wet N Wild is another good brand. They have a great selection of eye shadows. I used to have a Rimmel Bronzer and a Wet N Wild bronzer and the Wet N Wild one worked a lot better.
well, i use covergirl pressed powder [unscented, green compact, about $3] and greatlash mascara [covergirl, $7-$8] and i got this really long eyeliner pencil [wet%26amp;wild] for %26amp;1! but i think i just got lucky. covergirl is really good, and not overpriced, as long as you don't buy it from a professional stand or store. just get it from like, walmart.
I really love Cover girl cosmetics. You can register on there web site, see what is new. You can buy on-line or download coupons. You can also try on new colors, virtual, to see how they look. One more thing, when you register, you will fill out questionnaire and cover girl will help you with what colors should work for you.

Ronda

okay well i know this is sorta pricey but use bare minerals.

when i first tried it i hated it to be honest because there wasn't

much coverage. but then i noticed you can use more without

it looking cakey or causing acne. you can even sleep in it and

be totally safe. for a kit it is like 65$ at sephora or sephora.com

and that includes two shades of foundation to find the perfect

match, mineral veil witch is conceiler and then you put it on in

the end, and also warmth witch is like a blush and some brushes.

also watch the video that comes with it. [: hope this helped.

E.L.F (online)- they have amazing make-up and most of it is only a dollar.

Revlon- Their colorstay products work so well! Ecspecially if you are messy working with eye make-up, you should get the make-up eraser pencil. I highly reccomend it.

Covergirl- They have the best mascara (lashblast)

NYC- Great eyeliner! And they have cool lipsticks in neat colors for 99 cents
if u go to walmart all those drugstore brands are really good like covergirl and revlon. I mean each brand is gonna have some sstuff that isnt gonna work well or doesnt work for u but all in all they are good... nyx stuff like that also if u like buy one item from like mac say every two weeks or three or month u no it will add up and then it will give u some good stuff. mac is the cheapest of the designer brands and its kinda like treating urself to something nice so ya
if you have a rite aid or longs drugs near you then nyx would be the best brand to check out... if you have a cvs near you then rimmel (rimmel is at target too) or max factor... if they dont have those at those stores then try covergirl (which you can get basically at any drugstore) because they have pretty good quailty things now too
ELF thats the brand name and everything they have is one dollar nice buy for nice stuff! i also used to really like rimmel. i have aged and need a little higher end products now but when i was younger i liked revlon colorstay line and loreal. I also liked clinique really well
You can basically find these at your local Rite Aid. :)

Eyeshadows - L'Oreal HIP, Revlon, Jesse's Girl

Eyeliner - Styli-Style

Mascara - Covergirl

Blush/Bronzer - Neutrogena, Maybeline, Almay, Physicians Formula

Lipgloss - Covergirl Wetslicks, Neutrogena

Nyx. That's good stuff if you have the right kind of base under. I stay away from maybelline and covergirl for eyeshadows. Although covergirl did just come out with these new eyeshadows that are very vibrant. I like those. They're nice try that. They're called tropical fusion or something like that. Hope it helps.
personally i think that everyone should splurge on expensive makeup, not only does it work good, but most don't test on animals! :)

DON'T get covergirl, it sucks and it test on animals.

try m.a.c or urban decay,

just go to sephora and buy! :) %26lt;3 i love it there
covergirl has some really good mascara and lip gloss. loreal has good foundation, blush, and concealer. target and drugstores sell really good make-up brands.

you can go to covergirl.com to get color matched and it shows you what lipstick, blush, foundation, eyeshadow etc is good for you.
-Mascara: Maybelline Great Lash (pink %26amp; green) - about 3-6$

-Eyeshadow: Covergirl has great palletes for about $3.

-Lip Gloss: Try looking at off-brands at CVS

-Chapstick: Burt's Bee's - $3 at Claire's

-Blush: Most of these are $4 range, if they aren't Chanel or anything.

-Eyeliner: Mac is GREAT, about $10 - but it is soooooo worth it.

I hope this helps! =]
N.Y.C is a great brand and it has really cool makeup and nail polish.

Also Wet and Wild is good.

But you should do what i do.

I go to the drug store about once a week like Longs Drugs and always check to see if they have a sale on good cosmetics.

Hope I Helped! =]
NYC makeup products tend to be on the cheaper side, like in CVS they have like 99 cent nail polishes by them and lip glosses and lip sticks, but it would be better if you specified what you are looking for, like eye shadow etc.
This question was asked to my teacher (make up expert..has done tons of editorial stuff)....

Her answer. Cheap make up has cheap ingredients and probably wont work as well. But if you are tight on money...Revlon, Physicians Formula.

And covergirl mascara rocks. (my opinion)
all can be found at target/walmart/drugstores.

Eyeshadows: Loreal HIP for sure girl.

Lip: burt's and bees colored lipbalm

Blush: Physicians Formula

Eyeliner: Covergirl Line exact

Concealer: covergirl

Mascara: Maybelline the colossal

Take my advice, use physicians formula.. this is the closest to any mac, clinique, or expensive dillards makeup counters. works great, great for your skin, inexpensive, found at any walgreens or drug store.
Maybelline- Lash Stylist Mascara and Line Stylist Eyeliner

L'oreal-Voluminous Mascara, Eye Shadows loose and pressed

Milani-Eyeshadows are surprisingly nice

Physcians Formula-Concealers and Powders

Revlon-Lip Sticks

Sinful Colors-Nail Polish is even better than Opi!
the absolute BEST mascara in the world is loreal voluminous. it it soooo waterproof and its not at all clumpy. it is also very cheap and you can get it at any CVS, walgreens, or rite aid.
Mineral powders work the best. Bare Mineral's products are pretty expensive, but there are cheaper brands you can get at drug stores. The mineral powders do well because they don't clog up your pores as much as the other stuff does.
oh.my.god.

you have gott to try wet 'n wild mascara !

that stuff is thee bomb .

haha , i love it soo much.

their eyeliners are also really good.

eyeliner - $1

mascara - $2

they have everything ! :D
l'oreal mineral foundation (14.99)

lip gloss (.99)

eyeliner (2.99)

mascara(5.99)

blush (6.99)
