Are all makeup products eventually discontinued?

Or do certain products always remain on the market? To me, there are certain products brands bring out (Lash Blast from Covergirl sticks out in my mind at the moment) that I could see being on shelves forever without people tiring of them. Will every product inevitably be discontinued, or is that a fate reserved specifically for products that are selling badly?Are all makeup products eventually discontinued?
