but makeup counters are completely separate from stores in terms of sales. the counters have never had any kind of sales, not even on black friday. not even in the recession! but around the holidays they have alot of special offers especially in the freestanding mac stores. special offers like they have the little sets of travel sized eyeliners or brushes or pigments, or a free sample with purchase. in sephora its nearly impossible to have a sale on everything because they represent so many different companies.
