Are MAC makeup products tested on aniamls?

I am a BIG animals lover and i know that COLGATE toothpaste is tested on animals but do you know if MAC makeup is? I own a few things from that and i want to throw it away if it is tested on animals.Are MAC makeup products tested on aniamls?

pamela anderson is a huge animal rights activist and im sure if MAC products were tested on animals she would have never agreed to model for their make up
